Today was such a gorgeous day out! We stayed busy and spent a lot of time outdoors! After we took a walk around the neighborhood we went out to the field to look at all the baby cows. They seem to multiply every time I look out there. Today there were lots! There were 3 babies right by the fence and as Connor, Audrey and I walked closer their mom made a noise and they all took off running. It was like she was guarding them for danger. Connor loves going out there. He kept saying "baby cow" and pointing. I had Audrey in the front carrier and she had fallen asleep pretty quickly so she was missing all the fun. After we walked all the way down the fence line looking at the cows we headed back to the house. On the way back to the house Connor kept saying "hold baby Audrey's hand." He knows the drill, when we are walking through the field he has to hold our hand so we can watch out for ant piles. Today he apparently only wanted to hold Audrey's hand. When Audrey is facing me in the front carrier and she is asleep her hands dangle to the her side so it was easy for him to reach up and grab her hand. They walked hand in hand back to the house.
