Day 89

Leading up to Connors birthday every time we would ask him what he wanted for his birthday he would say bike! One time he said 2 bikes so from that point forward we would always joke and say how many bikes do you want and he would say 2 bikes! It was like clockwork. For weeks he would say he wanted 2 bikes! Lucky him! My parents got him a bike for his birthday! They bought him a really cool balance bike that is short enough for him. When he saw it his eyes lit up and he said bike! After he ran over to the bike, very interested in it, he started getting visibly upset. We had no idea what he was upset about. He didn't want to ride the bike or even get close to it. We then realized that he was looking for the second bike! Its like he realized that he had been asking for two bikes for so long and was very dissapointed when there was only one. He wouldn't get on it and didn't want to ride it at all. Today we finally convinced him to get on it and take his first ride! He seemed to really enjoy it!
