Today was the Super Bowl. We were so excited that the Broncos made it this year. We had a few friends over to watch the game. We did little of watching the game and more of playing with all the kids! Funny how things change when you have kids! Its ok, we didn't miss much. Broncos got killed. We had great food and good conversation. Made for a good night! Connor loves when he is around older kids. He follows them around and observes everything they do! One of the couples that came over has a 4 and a 6 year old. Connor had 2 new best friends. Loved having them here! By 7 (his usual bed time) it was very obvious that he was exhausted but he did not want to go to sleep! Of course not, all the other kids were still here playing. He usually doesn't fight us at all at bed time but tonight it took an extra 10 minutes or so to get get to go down. Even then we watched him on the video monitor and until every one left he just tossed and turned in bed while still awake. At least he wasn't crying or making any noise, just hanging out. I know he was exhausted. While the kiddos were here he did LOTS of running around. I feel like he didn't do any walking today. He just ran every where. Its also funny that when you have a super bowl party (or any party for that matter) and you and all your friends have kids the house is clean and everyone is gone before the 4th quarter. Maybe that would have happened anyway because we already knew the broncos weren't going to win that one! After everyone left and Connor settled in I captured this shot of him sleeping. He didn't budge at all when I went in there. Poor boy was so worn out!
